ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Our capital has almost a million of residents, most of which are from other cities. The railway station is often visited by non-innates of Astana city. People have to spend much time in queues to get their ticket to hometown, astana.kz informs. Today this problem has been solved - the first electronic ticket center in Kazakhstan has been opened at the railway station of Astana city.

Ermek Tulegenov, chairman of the board at "Passenger transportation" JSC:

"This is a special hall, as you see, there is a train schedule in this hall, there are automated ticketing systems, we have 26 such machines in Astana. Everything is for the purpose of automatic control, we introduce it to improve conditions for passengers".

A great advantage is that one can buy a ticket using cash or through non-cash payment. There will be an assistant near each machine. Today there are 26 such machines in Astana, and 16 of them are in the new center. Metropolitan residents are truly glad to have this novelty.

Aisulu Akhmetkalieva, resident of Astana city:

"I liked the processing via these terminals, it's fast, convenient and without queues, which is the most important. It's very good, I think everyone should use them. They helped me, of course, but it's very easy to process documents here".

In the hall there are also armchairs, benches, a TV, air conditioner and heating. Ticket offices will operate according to the same schedule. It's worth noting that last year the company transported over 20 million passengers, which is one million more, than in 2012.
