ASTANA. December 19. KAZINFORM - Akorda hosted the meeting of the Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on fight against corruption, chaired by Secretary of State Marat Tajin, the press service of the President reports.

The meeting discussed measures to improve the efficiency of disciplinary councils of the Agency for Civil Service, as well as the use of budget funds allocated to local executive bodies in the form of transfers.

It was noted that on the quality of disciplinary councils largely depends timely prevention and suppression of corruption offenses in the public service, enhancing civil society's trust in the authorities in general.

In respect of the effectiveness of the use of budgetary funds allocated to local authorities in the form of transfers, it has been noted that the main causes of violations are poor planning and targeted transfers, lack of proper supervision by the administrators of budget programs.

The meeting heard the reports of the Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs A.Baimenov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance B.Sultanov, Chairman of the Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption R.Tusupbekov, as well as representatives of the Accounts Committee for Control over Execution of the republican budget and the General Prosecutor's Office.
