ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ 'We have to pay more attention to disease prevention', President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized at the joint session of the Houses of the Parliament delivering his annual Address to the Nation.

The Head of State said that during the years of independence a birth rate increased by 25 percent and mortality reduced by 11 percent.

'Under wisely organized prevention measures we can avert diseases', the President emphasized adding that it is necessary to have established a Single Healthcare System in Kazakhstan by 2013.
