8 headquarters in support of presidential candidate N.Nazarbayev established in Almaty

ALMATY. February 16. KAZINFORM /Sara Mustafina/ Almaty Akim (Mayor), Chairman of the Almaty affiliate of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party Akhmetzhan Yessimov has held a sitting of public headquarters of presidential candidate Nursultan Nazarbayev.

It was noted that the agitation and propaganda activity will start on March 3 and end on April 1. Eight headquarters including one municipal and seven district ones were created in support of candidate for President of the Republic of Kazakh N.Nazarbayev. Rector of Turan University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Rakhman Alshanov heads the municipal headquarters. Well-known people of Almaty, representatives of the spheres of education, production, social sphere, mass media, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and labor and youth joined it.

The Almaty Akim emphasized that Kazakhstan successfully implemented its mission as the OSCE chairing country, worthily carried out the VII Asian Winter Games and is recognized by the world community.

He noted that signatures collection for the referendum demonstrated attitude of the Kazakhstani people who supports the policy of the Head of State.
